So, after 19 years (Monster Energy) Supercross is back in Tampa! Upon looking at the track map and all that at the time, I was so pumped that the track had a pretty large sand section. Like…a legit sand section. It’s Florida, it needed one and I was hoping it’d be gnarly. But, DAMN did they make it a big one. You could just tell that that section of the track was going to be the place to watch all afternoon. The amount of chaos that was going down in that sand pit was just insane.
I seriously hope that they keep Tampa on the schedule for a long time. From a photo perspective, how can you hate a stadium that has a damn pirate ship in it?! That’s instant cool points in my book. It just adds a cool backdrop, especially with the pyrotechnic tendencies of Monster Energy Supercross.
If you have never been to a Monster Energy Supercross event, you are seriously missing out.

I’m going to keep this post kind of short so I can get to the good stuff now. Hope you enjoy the photos and keep your eyes peeled for new works and projects!
