Your Businesses Website
Let’s face it, it’s going to leave a bad taste in your consumers mouth in this day and age if your website is less than stellar. Seriously. If a person comes to your website and it is dated, or looks like it was from 10 years ago…chances are they are going to leave or at least be very skeptical to do business with you or take you seriously. Or, if they go to your site and it takes to long to load…you might as well consider them gone. How long is to long you ask? This is fact, 53% of mobile users will leave a site if it takes longer than 3 seconds to load. 3 seconds. That’s all the time you have, right off the bat.
Not to mention that over 90% of consumers do research online even before visiting a business. That’s a pretty big piece of the pie if you ask me. Which makes sense. Think about how you do it, how do you find a new place to eat? Or find a place that has a certain product? The first place you go is online, you research, base your opinions off of what you see, maybe read the reviews depending on the scenario we are talking about and then you move forward.

There are literally billions of websites on the internet today. When someone finds your website, you want to make sure that it stands out. At least have it show that you care and that you’re up-to-date with it. With mobile users these days leaving website if it doesn’t load in 3 seconds, you’ve got to grab attention and grab it fast. In my opinion, if someone lands on your website and it looks like it is from the 90’s, my guess is they will immediately leave. But, let us not get hung up on simply aesthetics, the functionality and flow of your site is just as important. If your site is hard to navigate, your information is convoluted, or it’s just scattered about…you guessed it. They will likely leave. Website building to me is about making your site portray your message in a user friendly, kick ass looking way.
